Bike maintenance – when to do it?
We recommend bike maintenance once a year, for example in spring when the cycling season starts. However, it’s a good idea to have your bike serviced in autumn, so there are no queues and you can confidently take your bike out for a spin as soon as the first fine weather arrives in spring.
Bike maintenance is essential when:
- Brakes not working properly
- Your bicycle creaks or even rattles
- Gears don’t engage well or are sticky
- If you notice there is rust on your bike
- Nuts do not come loose when turning
- The wheel runners are slightly curved

- We check the tyres and pump them up
- We visually check the condition of the bike

- If the bike is sent to us for maintenance, this check is free of charge.
Simple bike maintenance 30€ + spare parts
- Let’s do a light cleaning
- Eliminate loose joints, check and tighten bolts-nuts
- We adjust gears and brakes
- Oiling the chain
- Pumping tyres
Bicycle maintenance 88€ + spare parts
- In addition to pre-trip maintenance, we lubricate brake discs, gearboxes and cables.
- If necessary, we will replace broken parts with new ones
- Let’s take the 8s out of the rims
- Replacement of simpler spare parts
Comprehensive bike maintenance 195€ + spare parts (bearings, rope-rings and v-brake pads are free).
- Wash, clean and care for your bike
- We completely disassemble the bike, clean all the joints, lubricate, replace worn parts with new ones and reassemble the bike. The old bike becomes “new” and shiny.

Wheels
- We will replace the inner tyre (including the cost of the tyre) or repair it for 10€.
- Exterior tyre change 10€
- Maintenance of the hub (including the cost of new bearings) 15€.
- We’ll sort out the “eights” from the runs (depending on the number of 8) 10-30 €.
Gears
- Set the brakes, adjust 10€
- Replacement and adjustment of rope 10€
- We service (with old cable) one gearbox 15€
- Replacement of cranks (gears) 10-20€
- We exchange a tirri or cassette 10€

Brakes
- Replacement and adjustment of pads (front and rear) 10€
